Across the nation, the veneration of goddesses thrives in many localities, represented by temples and worship activities. Each region exhibits its unique set of beliefs while remaining interconnected within the cultural and spiritual tapestry of honoring the divine feminine. These various faiths, including the Four Palaces, can be regarded as distinct branches stemming from the broader Đạo Mẫu of Viet Nam (Vietnamese Mother Goddess religion). Even though each belief has its own central figure, with much diversity of belief and practice evident among practitioners, interactions and influences between these belief systems within Đạo Mẫu are not uncommon, further enriching the religious landscape.
