On the occasion of the 1st day of the Feast Month celebrating Mother Goddess Liễu Hạnh, the Primary Mother Goddess, the Second Mother Goddess of Earth; Four Palaces – Tứ Phủ is pleased to introduce the The Court Literature Prose to the Mother Goddess from the ancient book Genealogical Records of the Immortals [僊譜譯錄 – Tiên Phả Dịch Lục]. This book recounts the miracles of Mother Goddess Liễu Hạnh, from Her birth to Her ascension to the heavens.
This ancient document was compiled by the Provincial Education Commissioner of Bắc Giang, Kiều Oánh Mậu, and approved by the Resident-Superior of Tonkin. The original printing woodblocks of the book are currently preserved at the National Library of Vietnam – the repository of ancient Sino – Nôm documents.
