The project by artist Chirido Nguyen portrays the Holy Courtiers of Four Palaces. The costumes resemble those worn by thanh đồng (shamans) during a ceremony of hầu bóng (serving the reflections), with token colors and accessories associated with a Courtier’s story.
The titles of the Holy Courtiers respectively are:
- First Courtier of High Heaven
- Second Courtier of Mountains and Forests
- Third Courtier of Water Palace
- Fourth Courtier, Imperial Commissioner
- Fifth Courtier of Lân Stream
- Sixth Courtier of Six Residences
- Seventh Courtier of Kim Giao
- Eighth Courtier of Bát Nàn
- Nineth Courtier of Nine Wells
- Tenth Courtier of Đồng Mỏ
- Little Courtier of Bắc Lệ
- Local Courtiers (represented by a shaman [thanh đồng] covering their head with the sacred Red Veil)
